PAGCEV 2nd PLASTIC RECYCLING CONFERENCE

On behalf of PAGÇEV, we are pleased to invite you to the PAGÇEV 2nd Plastic Recycling Conference, which will be held on May 8, 2025, the opening day of the RePlast Eurasia Fair, at the Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center.

The conference will be held within the fair area from 13:00 to 18:00, and participation is free of charge.

As a key platform driving Turkiye’s Green Transition, RePlast Eurasia will play a crucial role in positioning the country as a hub for the recycling industry in the years ahead. Bringing together raw material and technology companies that develop products and services for every stage of plastic recycling, as well as industry professionals, RePlast Eurasia - Plastic Recycling Technologies and Raw Materials Fair will be held for the second time.

The PAGÇEV 2nd Plastic Recycling Conference will feature leading experts sharing the latest industry insights and will provide a platform to address all questions related to plastic recycling.

Through sessions focused on topics such as the current state of the plastic recycling sector, upcoming technological advancements, regulatory frameworks, sustainability, and the circular economy, industry professionals will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and shape their future strategies.

The PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Conference, organized last year, made a significant impact by bringing together leading figures in the industry. The event began with an opening speech by PAGEV Congress Committee Chairman Hamdi Yazır, followed by keynote addresses from Bernard Merkx, General Manager of EuPC (European Plastics Converters), Antonello Ciotti, President of PETCORE Europe, and Hasan Büyükdede, Former Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology. The conference’s main speaker, PAGÇEV President Yavuz Eroğlu, delivered a presentation titled "The Green Transition Vision of Turkish Industry," sharing crucial insights on the future of the sector. Additionally, the PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards recognized outstanding achievements in the industry.

During the conference panels, the latest developments in the plastic recycling sector were thoroughly discussed. Representatives from leading organizations such as PETCORE EUROPE, EuPC, FEGEDEG, SIBUR, GREENDOT, CERTILOOP, BANDERA, S&P GLOBAL, UNILEVER, COCA-COLA, ANADOLU EFES, NESTLE, OYAK RENAULT, FORD OTOSAN, TOFAŞ, KAREL KALIP, BURPOL POLİMER, POLİTEM PLASTİK, and ART RECYCLE shared valuable insights on a wide range of topics, including regulations, pricing trends, the use of recycled plastics in the automotive industry, and environmental factors. This highly significant event provided attendees with a deeper understanding of industry dynamics and an opportunity to shape future strategies for the recycling sector.
